Lake George has some very good fishing for trout and bass. 8 mile creek has exceptional fly fishing. Round Vally reservoir also has the New Jersey state record for brown trout and holds amazing fish. My dad caught a 24 inch rainbow trout there and it’s about 1 hour and 20 mins from your location.
