Salmon River Flood 2010

This is the Salmon River flood which occured in October of 2010 in Pulaski NY. The high water prevented many fishermen from entering the water in order catch the running salmon, however, a few managed to land some in parking lots near by. This was shot in the parking lot of Archers Endzone.

Annual trophy fishing trip to New york produces some great Browns, Steelhead, and Salmon. Most fish were taken on a fly. All fish were released to provide other anglers the chance to experience this great feeling!

Cause some of the books I read have ‘broth’ in them, and I want to find out if they could make broth in mesolithic Ireland, and if so, what did they use??

Mesolithic Ireland was mostly hunter-gatherer type people. They took advantage of indigenous wildlife and fresh produce as well as seafood such as cockles and mussels which could be easily gathered along the coasts and fresh water fish from the many lakes and streams. Hazelnuts, seeds, bilberries, onions and apples can be traced back to 7,000 B.C. in Ireland… Potatoes and cabbage came to Ireland much, much later…
