HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?!
i moved from long island to virginia. i have an accent. and a totally different way of doing things, plus a totally different point of view.
the school i go to i swear is a majority inbred population. and the rednecks hate me. HATE. i have no problem with southerners, but I do hate rednecks. I guess they smell the yankee on me. I am not mean to them unless they say something that they consider “witty”.
Like the other day they were talking about hunting and rudely said things about me and how i dont know what its like to live down here and what not. i responded with “Look, just because I don’t kill food with my car, doesn’t mean I’m any where near as ignorant as you…” they got all pissy and offended… and everytime i say something i got made fun of.. so i have an accent big deal! it’s like none of them were socialized as young children, but seeing as how a majority of them are inbred*when one is higher then other, how hard is it to tell?* i guess i can’t expect them to be. I hate living down here. They run there trucks through mud for fun. they almost seem to be offened when im not impressed by their mud covered fords. where im from we do civilized things like go to the movies and the mall!
i just can’t bare to live down here…. all they talk about is hunting and camoflauge.. in the time that ive resided here my hair’s been every single colour in the rainbow, that alone scares them.. i get these huge stares. in ny no one batted an eyelash
please help!

I am guessing you are in high school or middle school because hopefully someone who’s old enough to go to college wouldn’t be so mean. Just try to get involved in activities in the school you’re interested in: ex: art music, etc.
Hopefully you’ll make a friend that even if they are one of the rednecks. Maybe you can teach them that being different is good. And the two of you can learn from each other. If God wanted everyone to be the same who would have made us all with the same color hair skin etc.
As far as the accent, I have a southern accent and used to get made fun of for it. I LIVE in the south and yes I still got made fun of for it.
Sometimes people feel the need to make fun of others to make themselves feel better. Don’t let them get you down.

I know there are other laws on the list more inane, but most of them are not enforced.

Although hummingbirds may fly over water in company of mixed flocks of other bird species, they do not “hitchhike” on other birds. Some hummingbirds land on offshore oil rigs or fishing boats to rest.
Individual birds may make landfall anywhere between southern Texas and central Florida. Before departing, each bird will have nearly doubled its weight, from about 3.25 grams to over 6 grams; when it reaches the U.S. Gulf coast, it may weigh only 2.5 grams. It’s also possible that a few Ruby-throats island-hop across the Caribbean and enter the U.S. through the Florida Keys

Several species of hummingbirds are migrants and overcome all the way on their own wings, Ruby-throats f.e. arrive in mid- to late-April in New York and leave in late September to fly back to Mexico.

Question by Tyler Wigington: Can I take a suitcase of prepackaged food from the U.S. to China if I check it and don’t carry it on?
I am going to China tomorrow. I will leave from New York. If I pack a suitcase of prepackaged food and check it at the airport (NOT carrying it on), will it make it past Chinese customs?

Depends on the kind of food. Customs _will not_ care how the bag was carried, since you pick up all of your luggage before going through customs. It won’t make any difference if it was checked or carried on.
Anything that is vegetable, meat, fish, fruit will probably get tossed out. Cereal, crackers, cookies, snacks like that may make it through OK. But that is _only_ a guess. They might wonder why you are bringing a whole suitcase of food. Any intent to resell it is certainly a reason for them to take it away.
It may also just depend on the mood of the particular inspector who you deal with. It is all rather unknown.

bass pro shops should have em. im not sure about the rest. see, my dad loves fishing and he goes to bass pro all the time so im prety sure you can get them there

6″ plastic worm, Texas rigged with a 1/8 OZ bullet weight. It is weed-less so it doesn’t get caught up on weeds very often. Plus it is the single-handed best lure ever put on the face of the earth. EVER. Just bounce it along the bottom and a good sized largemouth will pick it up. Use 4″ worms for smallmouth. They like smaller baits.
