Coney Island is a peninsula, formerly an island, in southernmost Brooklyn, New York City, USA, with a beach on the Atlantic Ocean. The neighborhood of the same name is a community of 60000 people in the western part of the peninsula, with Seagate to its west; Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach to its east; and Gravesend to the north. The area was a major resort and site of amusement parks that reached its peak in the early 20th century. It declined in popularity after World War II and endured years of neglect. In recent years, the area has seen the opening of MCU Park, home to the Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball team. Native American inhabitants, the Lenape, called the island Narrioch (land without shadows), because, as is true of other south shore Long Island beaches, its compass orientation keeps the beach area in sunlight all day. Question by mandy1984: Turkey leg recipe needed quick!!!?
Tonight my fiance offered a turkey leg recipe showdown. I cook 2 he cooks the other 2. I’m in need of a recipe quick!!!!!
I have on hand, onion, celery, tomato, ALL types of spices, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, rice/balsamic vinager, milk, soy sauce, italian dressing, liquid smoke, flour, capers, fish sauce, fresh garlic, lime, and oranges.
Side items I’m thinking red potatoes, frozen broccoli, or baby bok choys….
*note – I don’t have an outdoor grill!, I know sucks. Thinking oven, Fry, or Broil….
( please no comments on how nice/fun it is to cook together, we do it all the time! ) Thank you!
I forgot, I also have honey & sugars
Answer by Clairejoy
I’d say you really need to chop the meat up & go from there, otherwise they will just be turkey legs with stuff on the side
All I can think of is turkey soup with rice, celery, onions, garlic carrots. If you have some broth or gravy to add.
Sorry no recipe i just usually throw the ingrediants in and let it simmer.
Or you could make turkey pot pie.
If you have bisquick you could make turkey and dumplings.
